These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Mortgage Calculator AI PRO Android application (the “App”) and the website mortgagecalculatorpro.us (the “Site”), operated by The Bold Corporation (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the App or Site you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
The App provides mortgage payment and amortization calculations, market data aggregated from public and commercial sources, and informational insights, some of which are generated by artificial intelligence. The Site provides information about the App.
2. Not financial advice
Everything the App and Site provide is for general informational purposes only. Calculations are estimates based on the inputs you provide and exclude costs such as property taxes, homeowner’s insurance, mortgage insurance, HOA dues and closing costs unless stated otherwise. Market data may be delayed, estimated or unavailable, and the App labels data accordingly. AI-generated insights may be inaccurate or incomplete.
Nothing in the App or Site is financial, legal, tax or investment advice, and nothing constitutes a loan offer, pre-qualification or commitment to lend. Consult a licensed mortgage professional, financial advisor or attorney before making decisions. Actual loan terms are set by your lender.
3. Your use of the service
You may use the App and Site for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
- reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code from the App;
- interfere with or circumvent security, rate limits or device integrity checks;
- use automated means to access our servers or the Site beyond normal use of the App;
- use the service for any unlawful purpose.
We may suspend or limit access to protect the service, control costs or comply with law.
4. Accounts and data
The App signs you in anonymously and does not require an account. Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what information we collect and how to request deletion.
5. Third-party data and services
The App relies on third-party data providers and services, including the Federal Reserve (FRED), RentCast, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the US Census Bureau, Google Firebase and Google Gemini. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their availability or accuracy. Your use of the App may be subject to their terms.
6. Intellectual property
The App, Site, and their content, design and trademarks are owned by The Bold Corporation or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks. Third-party data remains the property of its providers.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
THE APP AND SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR THAT ANY CALCULATION, DATA OR INSIGHT IS ACCURATE OR CURRENT.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE BOLD CORPORATION AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP OR SITE, OR FROM ANY DECISION MADE IN RELIANCE ON THEM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP OR SITE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR TEN US DOLLARS. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THESE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your misuse of the App or Site or your violation of these Terms.
10. Changes to the service and these Terms
We may change or discontinue the App or Site, or any feature, at any time. We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
12. Google Play
The App is distributed through Google Play and your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.
