This Privacy Policy explains how The Bold Corporation (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information when you use the Mortgage Calculator AI PRO Android application (the “App”) and this website, mortgagecalculatorpro.us (the “Site”). If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App or the Site.

The App and Site are operated by The Bold Corporation, New York, USA. You can reach us at support@mortgagecalculatorpro.us .
Information we collect
Information you enter in the App
- Mortgage scenario inputs: home price, down payment, interest rate, loan term and ZIP code.
- Financial profile (optional, entered during onboarding): annual income, monthly expenses, savings, credit score range, target purchase price and down payment, property type preference, purchase timeline, and the US state derived from your ZIP code.
- Preferences: notification settings and in-app choices.
You can use the calculator without creating a profile. The financial profile is needed only for personalized insights and the daily insight feature.
Information collected automatically
- Anonymous account identifier: the App signs you in anonymously with Firebase Authentication. This creates a random user ID that is not linked to your name, email address or phone number. We do not ask you to create an account.
- Device and usage data: device model, operating system version, app version, screen views and feature usage events, collected through Firebase Analytics and PostHog.
- Crash and performance data: stack traces and device state at the time of a crash, collected through Firebase Crashlytics.
- Device integrity signals: Firebase App Check with Google Play Integrity verifies that requests to our servers come from a genuine copy of the App on a genuine device.
- Network status: whether the device is online, used to decide when to fetch data.
Information collected on the Site
The Site is hosted on Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested). The Site uses PostHog analytics to understand which pages are visited. The Site does not have user accounts and does not collect financial information.
How we use information
- To calculate payments and amortization schedules on your device.
- To store your financial profile so it is available across sessions and to our insight service.
- To generate personalized mortgage and market insights, including AI-generated insights (see below).
- To fetch market data relevant to your ZIP code.
- To send notifications you have enabled.
- To measure usage, fix crashes and improve the App and Site.
- To protect our services from abuse and control costs.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your financial profile for advertising.
Where your data is stored
Your mortgage scenario inputs are stored on your device. If you create a financial profile, it is also stored in Google Cloud Firestore, associated with your anonymous user ID, so that our servers can generate daily insights for you. Generated insights are stored in Firestore and expire automatically after 24 hours. Rate-limit counters and usage cost records are kept per anonymous user ID.
Artificial intelligence
Personalized insights are generated by Google Gemini, accessed only through our own server-side functions. The App never contains an AI API key. To generate an insight, our servers send Google the relevant parts of your financial profile (for example income range, savings, target price, credit score range and ZIP code) together with current market data. Google processes this data under its own terms for the Gemini API. We do not send your name or contact details, because we do not collect them.
AI-generated insights are informational and may be inaccurate. They are not financial, legal or tax advice. Every insight in the App is labeled with the data source it was based on and when that data was generated.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy. We share only what is needed for the function described.
Data retention
- On-device data stays until you clear the App’s data or uninstall it.
- Financial profile in Firestore is kept until you ask us to delete it.
- Generated insights expire 24 hours after creation and are removed automatically.
- Analytics and crash data are retained according to Firebase’s and PostHog’s default retention periods.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your data: clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling removes on-device data. To delete your profile and all server-side records associated with your anonymous ID, email support@mortgagecalculatorpro.us from the App’s device or include your anonymous user ID if you have it. We will complete the deletion within 30 days.
- Notifications: control them in the App’s settings or your device’s notification settings.
- Analytics: Android’s “Opt out of Ads Personalization” and “Delete advertising ID” settings limit identifiers available to analytics SDKs.
- Access and correction: you can view and edit your financial profile in the App at any time.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a US state with a consumer privacy law such as California, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal information. Contact us to exercise them. We do not discriminate against users who exercise their rights.
Security
Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Server-side data is protected by Firestore security rules that limit each anonymous user to their own records and allow insight writes only from our servers. API keys for AI and market data are held only on our servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The App and Site are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
International users
Our services are operated from the United States and data is processed there. By using the App or Site you understand that your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be noted in the App or on this page.
